Artist2Artist
Rate itLink the day's two music artists through a chain of real collaborations in five tries or fewer.
Every day: One numbered pair of music artists a day, the same for everyone (on 7 October 2026, Alicia Keys to Quavo). Link them through a chain of real collaborations in five tries or fewer; hard mode also asks for the song each pair made together. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Artist2Artist gives you two music artists a day and asks you to join them through people they have recorded with. Each guess must be a real collaborator of the last artist in your chain, and you win when your chain reaches the target, within five tries. Hard mode makes you name the song for every link.
About Artist2Artist
Artist2Artist is a daily six-degrees puzzle for music. Each day has a numbered puzzle with a start artist and a target artist, the same for every player. The first puzzle, Rex Orange County to Rick Ross, ran on 20 September 2026, and recent pairs have leaned on hip-hop, R&B and pop.
You build a chain one artist at a time. Each guess must be someone who has a real collaboration with the last artist in your chain. A valid guess is added to the chain; a wrong one, with no known link, costs a try but leaves the chain where it was. You win as soon as the newest artist also links straight to the target, and you have five tries in all.
In normal mode naming the collaborator is enough. Hard mode asks you to find the song they made together as well. The game's links come from MusicBrainz, which the page credits at the bottom.
After playing you can share your result and view your statistics. Older puzzles join an archive the day after they run, and progress on them is kept apart from today's game. The site also has a separate Albums game linked from the top of the page.
How to play Artist2Artist
- Open playartist2artist.com and read today's pair, for example Connect Alicia Keys to Quavo.
- Choose Normal, or Hard if you want to name the song for every link.
- Type an artist who has collaborated with the first artist, pick them from the list and press Submit.
- Keep adding collaborators of the newest artist in your chain until one also links to the target, within five tries.

Tips
- Look for a bridge artist who features widely across genres, since one well-connected name can link both ends.
- Work from both ends: think of who has recorded with the target, then look for a route to one of them.
- A wrong guess does not break your chain, so if a link fails, try a different collaborator of the same artist.
- In hard mode, think of the song first; a featured verse on a hit single is usually the easiest link to name.
Questions
How many tries do I get?
Five. A wrong guess uses a try but does not remove artists already in your chain.
What counts as a connection?
A real collaboration between the two artists, such as a song they made together. The game's data is credited to MusicBrainz.
What does hard mode change?
You must also name the song each pair of artists made together.
Can I play earlier puzzles?
Yes. Each puzzle is added to the Play older puzzles list the day after it runs.
