Cinema Circuit
Get from one film actor to another through the movies they shared.
Every day: One new pair of film actors each day, the same for everyone, to connect through shared films in as few links as possible, with a global record board for the shortest chain. New puzzle: Midnight Eastern Time.

Cinema Circuit is a daily take on six degrees of Kevin Bacon. You get a starting actor and a target actor, pick a film from the first one's credits, choose someone from its cast, and keep going until you reach the target in as few links as you can.
About Cinema Circuit
Cinema Circuit is the second game from WFH Games, a two-person studio run by Genie and Steve, and the film half of a pair with TV Circuit. Its makers point to Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon and The Movie Game as its roots: each day you have to get from one actor to another using nothing but their film credits.
The puzzle opens with the starting actor's filmography. Choose a film and you see its cast; choose an actor from the cast and you see their films, and so on. There is no limit on links, but the score is how many you used, and the first player to match the shortest possible chain claims the day's trophy on the global record board, with others who match it listed after them.
A new pair arrives every day at midnight Eastern Time, and consecutive puzzles chain together, with each day's target becoming the next day's start. Every past puzzle stays playable in the archive, with your own best next to the global one. The game is free in the browser and uses film data from TMDB.
How to play Cinema Circuit
- Note the starting actor and the target actor shown at the top.
- Pick one of the starting actor's films to see its cast.
- Choose an actor from that cast to see their own films.
- Keep linking film to actor until the target actor appears.
- Restart if you think a shorter chain exists, and check your count against the global record.
Tips
- Big ensemble films and franchise entries connect many actors at once.
- Think about which era and genre the target worked in and steer towards it early.
- Two links is often the record, so look for a single film the two actors could share a castmate through.
