Animedle at animedle.today is a free daily anime guessing game. You type any anime title, and each guess shows how its studio, year, season, episode count, genres and score compare with the day's answer, with no limit on guesses. A daily Character puzzle and a Pixel cover that sharpens with each guess round out the day's three.
About Animedle (animedle.today)
This Animedle lives at animedle.today and is a different site from the six-mode Animedle at animedle.lat. Each day it deterministically picks a popular anime, numbered from its start (#98 on 6 October 2026), and gives every player in the world the same answer. Titles, studios, genres and cover art come from AniList.
In Classic you type any title. Each attribute of your guess turns green if it matches, yellow if it is close and red if it is wrong, and arrows show whether the answer's year, episodes or score are higher or lower. Guesses are unlimited, so the game is about narrowing it down rather than running out of tries. A hint is there if you are stuck, and yesterday's answer is shown under the box.
The day has three puzzles, counted in a Today tally: Classic, Character (name an anime character from series, gender and other traits) and Pixel (a pixelated cover that sharpens with every guess). Emoji and Endless modes are also listed. It resets at 00:00 UTC, keeps a streak, needs no account and is in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
It suits anime fans who know their studios and seasons, and players who prefer working a puzzle down without a guess limit.
How to play Animedle (animedle.today)
- Open animedle.today; Classic shows today's numbered puzzle.
- Type any anime title and press Guess.
- Read each attribute: green matches, yellow is close, red is wrong, and arrows point higher or lower.
- Keep guessing, as often as you need, until you find the anime.
- Play the day's Character and Pixel puzzles too, then come back after midnight UTC.
