Bollywoodle brings the Heardle idea to Hindi film music, in three daily modes that each give you a different way into the same kind of answer.

Heardle plays a short clip of the day's song and lengthens it after each wrong guess, with six tries in all. Lyricle shows the song's Hindi lyrics translated into English, one line at a time, up to six lines; the puzzle we saw, Lyricle #75, opened with Oh, four days of youth, ah ah, and gave the year, 2007, as a hint. Musicle plays isolated stems, a single instrument or vocal track pulled out of the mix, and asks you to recognise the song from them.

All three are numbered dailies, the same for every player, with a leaderboard, an archive of past days and a party mode for playing with friends. An Android app has been announced on the site. It was shared on Show HN in August 2026.

It suits Bollywood fans who know the soundtracks and want a daily test of ear and memory.

How to play Bollywoodle

1. Open bollywoodle.app and pick Heardle, Lyricle or Musicle.
2. In Heardle, listen to the clip and type the song; each miss plays a longer clip.
3. In Lyricle, read the translated line and guess; each miss reveals another line.
4. In Musicle, listen to the isolated stems and name the song.
5. Solve within the tries allowed and share your result.
