BOLLY hides the title of a Bollywood film each day and you reveal it by guessing letters. Right letters fill in across the title, wrong ones cost one of five lives, and a hint unlocks after three misses at the price of another life. It comes from the makers of HOLLY, with an archive of past puzzles.
About BOLLY
BOLLY is a hangman-style title game for Hindi cinema. The day's film title is shown as blank spaces, and you pick letters one at a time. Every correct letter appears wherever it occurs in the title; every wrong one costs a life. You have five, drawn as the letters B, O, L, L and Y.
After three wrong guesses a hint becomes available, but using it costs a life too, so it is a gamble late in the round. The timer starts when you begin, and finishing keeps your day streak going. A new puzzle drops at midnight Indian Standard Time, and everyone plays the same film.
Beyond the daily, the site has an archive for replaying older puzzles in practice mode without touching your streak, an answers page with yesterday's reveal, a friends mode for sharing a puzzle, weekly puzzles on Fridays, a Pixels mode where you name the film from a hidden poster, and a points season with a leaderboard. How to play BOLLY

- Guess a letter; if it is in the title, it fills in every place it appears.
- A wrong letter costs one of your five lives.
- After three wrong letters you can take a hint, which costs one more life.
- Complete the title before your lives run out to keep your streak.
Tips
- Start with common vowels such as A, E and I; Hindi film titles transliterated into English use them heavily.
- Watch the word lengths: short words like KI, KA, HAI and DIL show up often.
- Save the hint for when you have a few letters but cannot place the film.
- Use the archive to practise on old puzzles without risking your streak.
