SongToSong
Link two music artists through a chain of song collaborations in as few steps as you can.
Every day: One daily challenge, the same for every player: a starting artist and a target artist to connect through songs they recorded with others, with three hints a day, streaks and past days to replay. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (the game dates its daily challenges by the UTC day).

SongToSong is a daily music connection puzzle. Each day gives a starting artist and a target artist, and you hop from one to the other by picking songs where one artist features another. The fewer steps, the better, and you can build custom challenges to send to friends.
About SongToSong
SongToSong is a six degrees game for music. The daily challenge names a starting artist and a target artist, and your job is to connect them through collaborations. From the starting artist you search for one of their songs that features someone else, which moves you to that artist; from there you pick another collaboration, and so on until you land on the target.
The aim is the shortest chain. When you finish you can tap an eye icon to reveal the shortest path the game knows, which shows how close you came. If you are stuck, a lightbulb in the search bar lists popular collaborations for the artist you are on, with three hints a day.
The song and artist data comes from Spotify, so the puzzles reach across pop, hip hop, K-pop and other genres where features are common. You can play as a guest; a free account keeps your streak and statistics in sync across devices. A calendar lets you play previous days back to April 2026.
Beyond the daily puzzle you can create a custom challenge with any start and end and share the link, which turns the game into a contest between friends over who finds the shorter route.
How to play SongToSong
- Read today's starting artist and target artist.
- Search the current artist's songs and pick one that features another artist to move to them.
- Keep chaining collaborations from artist to artist until you reach the target.
- Use the lightbulb for a hint if stuck (three per day), and aim for the shortest chain.
- When done, reveal the shortest path, or play a previous day or a custom challenge.
Tips
- Head for well-connected artists: big pop and hip hop names with many features are good bridges.
- Think about the target's genre first and work toward someone who often features in it.
- Save hints for when you are truly stuck; you only get three a day.
- Compare your chain with the revealed shortest path to learn bridges you can reuse.
