Your Call, day 3: 1963, Stockholm, Sweden's left-hand traffic referendum, with three choices: respect the vote, switch to the right anyway, or hold a second referendum

Your Call is a daily history game from Logicers. Each day gives one real moment, with its year and place, and three choices you could make in the leader's shoes. After you choose, the game shows what was actually done and what happened next, with two sources for the facts.

About Your Call

Your Call puts you in a historical decision. On the day this page was written it was 1963 in Stockholm: your country drives on the left, all your neighbours drive on the right, and 83 percent have just voted in a referendum to stay on the left. You are the prime minister of Sweden. The choices were to respect the vote, switch to the right anyway, or hold a second referendum.

You tap the choice you would make, then See what they did. The game shows what the real leader decided and what happened next. It says plainly that there is no right or wrong choice: it only shows what was actually done, and your album counts how often your call matched the leader's. Every moment is checked against two linked sources, and the events are at least twenty years old.

One moment a day, the same for everyone, arrives at midnight. There is no login and no cookies; your streak and an album of stamps are kept in your browser. A practice mode replays yesterday's moment. Your Call is one of Logicers' small daily games about the real world.

How to play Your Call

  1. Open Your Call on logicers.com and read the moment, its year and place.
  2. Tap the choice you would make among the three.
  3. Tap See what they did.
  4. Read what the real leader did, what happened next, and the two sources.
  5. Come back after midnight for a new moment, or practise yesterday's.

Tips

  • Think about the pressures on the leader at the time, not what you know happened later.
  • Look at the year and place for clues to the politics of the day.
  • Read the sources after the reveal; they often explain why the choice was made.
  • Your album counts how often you matched the leader, so you can track your instincts.
