Country Draft
Rate itDraft five famous people into a cabinet and conquer up to 195 countries.
Every day: One daily board a day, the same for everyone: five rounds of three countries, each with three famous people to draft into a five-job cabinet. Yesterday's best cabinet is shown once the boards close. New puzzle: Midnight Europe/Berlin time.

Country Draft is a free daily geography and strategy game from Countrivo. Over five rounds you pick a country, choose one of its famous people and seat them in a cabinet job, then see how many of the world's 195 countries your cabinet conquers. Everyone gets the same board, it takes about three minutes and needs no account.
About Country Draft
Country Draft is a short drafting game on Countrivo, a site of free geography games. Each day it serves one board, the same for every player, and you build a cabinet of five people from around the world. The board changes at midnight Berlin time.
Each of the five rounds offers three countries. Opening a country locks it in, and shows three of its famous people: leaders, soldiers, economists, writers, scientists and others. You choose one and give them a job that is still open: Leader, Army, Money, Voice or Science and ideas. Only after you confirm the appointment do you see its points, so you cannot test every person in every seat before deciding.
Each appointment earns up to 25 points for how well the person fits the job and up to 10 for how famous they are. On top of that come three cabinet bonuses: 8 when every job is a plausible fit, 6 for drafting from three world regions and 6 for mixing eras, with someone from before 1900 and someone from after 1950. The best possible total is 195, and the map paints that many countries. Par is 140.
There is no login. After a daily game you can add a name to the leaderboard, and a practice mode gives fresh boards that never touch the daily leaderboard. The next day, the page shows the best cabinet that could have been drafted from yesterday's board. It suits players who like history and geography and enjoy a quick decision game more than a quiz.

- Repeat for five rounds until all five jobs are filled, then see your score out of 195 painted on the world map.

Tips
- Match each person to the job they actually did: up to 25 of the 35 points per seat come from career fit.
- Keep an eye on the region and era trackers at the top; three regions and a mix of before 1900 and after 1950 add 12 points.
- Leave a flexible job open for the late rounds, when the countries on offer may not have an obvious fit for the seat you still need.
