PACT FIVE
Draft a five-man basketball lineup from the same cards as everyone else, where chemistry multiplies the score.
Every day: One shared draft a day: the same five rounds of team cards for everyone, one player picked per round in 60 seconds, scored on real stats and chemistry, with a global daily leaderboard and streaks. New puzzle: Once a day (the exact time is not stated).

PACT FIVE is a daily basketball draft puzzle using real NBA and EuroLeague seasons. Everyone gets the same five rounds: three team cards per round, one pick each, sixty seconds in total. Pairings from the same roster, franchise or college multiply your score, so the best player on the card is often the wrong pick.
About PACT FIVE
PACT FIVE, by cgkn, was published on itch.io in September 2026 and is also played at pactfive.com. Each day's puzzle is the same for every player. You first pick a coach, then fill a five-slot lineup over five rounds. Each round shows three cards, each a team from a given season, such as the 1984 Detroit Pistons, with five players and their stat lines. You choose one player per round and put him in an open position, all within sixty seconds.
The scoring is where the thinking happens. Every player has a fantasy points value built from his season stats, but two players who share a roster, a franchise or a college create chemistry, and each pairing multiplies the total instead of adding to it. The card shows how each pick would change your multiplier and your score. Coaches also change the weights in the formula: one might multiply rebounds and blocks, another rewards a balanced lineup, so the same player is worth more or less depending on who runs the team. Formations vary too, from the classic five positions to a point-forward setup with three forwards.
Some pairings are hidden bonds. Put Magic Johnson next to Larry Bird and a bond opens with its own illustration and a short story about the two players. There are 56 to collect in a Bond Book, and the game never tells you which ones you missed.
The player pool covers 20,806 real player seasons from 1980 to 2025 across the NBA and the EuroLeague. A global daily leaderboard ranks results, streaks track daily play, and a rookie camp teaches the systems one at a time; a practice mode is not ranked. No account is needed. The game uses real names and public statistics only, with no team logos, kits or photographs.

Tips
- Do not just take the highest points value; a weaker player who links to two others can be worth more.
- Read the coach's formula before picking: a rebounds-and-blocks coach changes which big men are worth the most.
- Note which positions are still open, since a player who cannot be placed that round is wasted.
- Hidden bonds are never listed, so try famous teammate pairings in practice mode.
