Draft Dawg
Six daily NBA games: draft lineups to a stat target, fill leaderboards and name players against the clock.
Every day: Six NBA games a day, the same for everyone and playable once each: Starting Five, Starting Five Historic, Starting Five Stacks, Name Drop, The Gauntlet and Perfect Player. New puzzle: Midnight Pacific Time, as the site's FAQ states.

Draft Dawg is a fan site of daily NBA games built around drafting. Each day brings six challenges, from drafting a starting five whose stats land as close as possible to a target, to naming the missing player on historic leaderboards. Every daily can be played once, and the last week stays playable from the homepage.
About Draft Dawg
Draft Dawg calls itself an independent fan site that builds NBA daily games, challenges and trivia. Its centre is a set of six daily games that reset together at midnight Pacific Time, each played once a day by everyone.
Three of them are drafting puzzles. In Starting Five you draft a lineup round by round under a theme and try to make its total of the day's stat land as close as possible to a goal; going over costs as much as falling short. Starting Five Historic hides the target behind a real lineup from NBA history, with each player's number concealed. Starting Five Stacks gives three boards of twelve players and asks for the five who maximise or minimise a stat on each, scored against the best possible lineup.
The other three are trivia. Name Drop shows five historic leaderboards with one name missing on each, in normal and hard versions. The Gauntlet asks you to name a player who matches every clue before the timer runs out, round after round. Perfect Player asks you to rebuild one player's season averages a stat at a time. Outside the daily set there are an endless Gauntlet, pass-and-play party games and a full fantasy draft simulator.
An account adds streaks, achievements, leaderboards and groups, and a guest mode lets you play without one. It suits NBA fans who think about lineups and stat lines, and players who want several short basketball games in one place.

Tips
- In Starting Five, overshooting costs as much as undershooting, so leave room for the last pick.
- For Stacks, sort each board in your head by the day's stat before you lock in the first player.
- Name Drop leaderboards reward knowing the second tier of stars, not just the leaders.
- In The Gauntlet, think of journeymen who fit many teams and eras.
- Sign in if you want streaks and the leaderboard; guest play does not keep them.
