Chronosort
Place the day's history cards on a timeline in the right order.
Every day: A new set of event cards each day, the same for everyone: place inventions, world events and famous birthdates on a timeline until you score ten points. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Chronosort is a daily history card game in the browser. You are dealt cards for inventions, world events and the births of famous people, and you slot each one into the right place on a growing timeline. Ten correct placements win the day; five mistakes end it.
About Chronosort
Chronosort is a timeline game played with picture cards. Each card names something from history, such as the invention of the crossbow, the start of the First Crusade, the birth of Galileo or the first mobile phone sold to the public. Cards already on the timeline show their year, and each new card arrives without one. You drop it between the two cards you think it falls between.
A right placement reveals the year and adds a point; a wrong one costs one of five hearts. Reach ten points to win the daily game. The cards change every day and come from a pool of more than 180, and the result can be shared as a short line with your hearts left and points scored.
The game is made by Antoine L. and runs in the browser on itch.io, played with the mouse. Because each card is placed relative to the others rather than dated exactly, it rewards a rough sense of which came first more than memorised years.
It suits players who like Chrono or Chronle and want the same ordering idea built up one card at a time, with pictures to help.
How to play Chronosort
- Open Chronosort on itch.io and start the daily game.
- Look at the cards already on the timeline and the years shown on them.
- Drag the new card to the gap where you think it belongs in time.
- A right placement shows the card's year and scores a point; a wrong one costs a heart.
- Score ten points before you lose all five hearts, then share your result.

Tips
- Years before the common era show as negative numbers, so ancient inventions sit far to the left.
- As the timeline fills up the gaps get narrower; take the easy placements early to save hearts.
- Birthdates and inventions mix on the same line, so think about when a person was active and subtract a few decades.
