Hisorty gives you six historical events each day, each with a picture and a short description, to drag into chronological order. You get three attempts, and each check marks which positions are right. An Endless mode lets you keep going after the daily.

About Hisorty

Hisorty is a daily sorting game for history, made by Damian Krajnak. Each numbered puzzle holds six events, from ancient history to the recent past, such as the Bay of Pigs invasion, Picasso's Guernica or the Thai cave rescue. Each card has a title, a picture and a few lines on what happened.

You drag the cards into the order you think they happened and submit. Every attempt marks each position green or red, so you know which cards are already in place, and you have three attempts to get the whole line right. When the puzzle ends the cards show their years and link to more reading. Your result can be shared as a grid of green and red squares.

The game keeps stats for games played, win rate, streak and average tries. You can sign in to keep them across devices, play the previous day's puzzle if you missed it, or switch to Endless, where you build as long a run of correct answers as you can.

It suits players of Chronle and Timdle who like a puzzle that tells you which positions are right after each try rather than only how many.

How to play Hisorty

  1. Open hisorty.app and press Play for today's puzzle.
  2. Read the six event cards.
  3. Drag them into order from earliest to latest and submit.
  4. Check which positions turned green, keep those cards in place and rearrange the rest.
  5. Solve it within three attempts, then see the years and share your grid.

Tips

  • Place the events you are surest of at the ends first; the middle is where most mistakes happen.
  • After a miss, only move the red cards: the green ones are already in the right position.
  • Years can be BC as well as AD, so look for ancient events in the set.
  • Missed a day? The game lets you play the previous day's puzzle.
