Compoundle How to Play panel: mystery stock, make your move, see the outcome, daily cash drop, over the day's case

Compoundle is a daily investing game built on business history. Each day you get one real company at a specific date in the past, with financial clues from that time, and decide how much to stake and whether to invest, short or pass. The result shows what actually happened and moves your balance and global rank.

About Compoundle

Compoundle comes from O'Flaherty Bros. Games. Each day's case is a mystery stock: a real company frozen at a date in its history, with the financial figures and context you would have seen then, but not its name. You pick an amount, then choose Invest if you think the stock went up, Short if you think it fell, or Pass if you would rather stay out.

When you reveal the result, the game shows the company and how its share price moved, and applies your gain or loss to a running balance. That balance is ranked on a global leaderboard, so a single bold call can move you a long way up or down. A daily cash drop grows if you come back day after day to keep a streak.

The case calendar is shared by everyone and changes at midnight Mountain Time. The site warns that it is not investment advice. Accounts are optional but keep your balance across devices. It suits people who follow markets or business history and like to test their judgement with stakes, even pretend ones.

How to play Compoundle

  1. Open today's case and read the clues about the mystery company at that date.
  2. Choose how much of your balance to put on it.
  3. Pick Invest if you think the stock rose, Short if you think it fell, or Pass to sit it out.
  4. Reveal the outcome to see the company, its price move and your new balance.
  5. Check your global rank and come back daily to grow your streak and cash drop.

Tips

  • Passing is a real option: protecting your balance on an unclear case can beat a coin flip.
  • Match your stake to your confidence, since a large loss is hard to make back.
  • Look at the date: a case set just before a crash or boom is a strong hint.
  • Compare valuation clues with growth figures; extreme gaps are often the point of the case.
