Daily Investor
Pin company towns on a map, answer two business questions and crack the day's stock ticker.
Every day: Five numbered rounds a day for everyone: two company geography map clues, two business trivia questions and a stock ticker to guess. New puzzle: Once a day.

Daily Investor is a free five-round business quiz with a new set each day. You place two company-related places on a map, answer two multiple-choice business trivia questions, then guess a stock ticker symbol Wordle-style. Each round is worth up to 100 points.
About Daily Investor
Daily Investor is a short daily quiz for people who follow companies and markets. Every day brings one fixed set of five rounds, the same for every player, starting with map clues such as finding the city where Apple has its headquarters or where Warren Buffett was born.
In the two map rounds you tap the spot on a zoomable map where you think the answer is, and you score up to 100 points depending on how many kilometres away you land. The two trivia rounds are multiple choice questions on business history, for example who founded Walmart, each worth 100 points if right. Each answer comes with a short explanation.
The finale is a stock ticker challenge: a clue describes a company and you guess its ticker symbol in up to six tries, with coloured tiles showing which letters are right. Solving it on the first try is worth 100 points, and each extra guess costs 10, down to 50. Your total out of 500 goes on a daily leaderboard, and you can sign in to keep a streak, which has a one-day freeze, and to compete in private leagues with friends.
The site notes that it is an educational trivia game and not financial advice. It suits investors, business students and anyone who reads the business pages and wants a quick daily test.
How to play Daily Investor
- Read the first clue and tap the map where you think the place is.
- Do the same for the second map clue; closer guesses score more.
- Answer the two multiple-choice business trivia questions.
- Read the ticker clue and type a symbol of the right length.
- Use the coloured tiles to refine your ticker guess, with six tries, then check your score out of 500.
Tips
- On the map rounds, zoom in before tapping: a few hundred kilometres can make a big difference to your points.
- For the ticker, think of how the company is usually abbreviated on exchanges before spending a guess.
- Read the explanations after each round; facts from them often come back in later days.
