Factle
Name the day's top five, in order, in five tries.
Every day: One general knowledge question a day with a ranked top five answer, the same for everyone: name the five and put them in order within five tries, with green and yellow tiles to guide you. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Factle is a daily trivia game from Front Office Sports. Each day's question has a ranked answer, such as the five largest of something; you enter five answers in order and the tiles show which are right, which are in the list but misplaced, and which are wrong. You have five tries.
About Factle
Factle is a top-five guessing game published by Front Office Sports, which also runs a sports-only edition, Factle Sports. The general Factle asks one question a day on any subject, always with a ranked answer of five: biggest, longest, most populous, best-selling.
You type five answers, drag them into the order you think is right and submit. Each tile then shows its colour: green for an answer in the right place, yellow for one that is in the top five but in the wrong place, and grey for one that is not in the list. You keep the greens, replace the greys and shuffle the yellows, with five tries to get the whole list right.
The site says it is completely free, needs no account and takes about two minutes. It plays in any browser with no app, and an archive lists earlier questions.
It suits players who like lists and rankings, and those who enjoy the reasoning of Wordle more than recall alone: even a partial answer earns colours you can work from.
How to play Factle
- Read the day's question; the answer is a ranked list of five.
- Type five answers and drag them into the order you think is right.
- Submit and read the colours: green right place, yellow in the list but misplaced, grey not in the list.
- Fix your list and try again; you have five tries.
Tips
- Fill every slot even when unsure; a grey tile still tells you something.
- Get the members of the list right first, then worry about the order.
- Think about the scale of the question: the top five of a big category are often the obvious names.
