Historicale is a daily timeline game from Teuteuf, the makers of Worldle. Each day it gives you six events that took place on that date across the centuries, and you drag them from oldest to latest; the game shows which you placed right.

About Historicale

Historicale is a history game from Teuteuf, the studio behind Worldle, Flagle and WhenTaken, which started its daily count in June 2026. Its daily puzzle is built on the idea of this day in history. All six events in the day's Timeline Mode happened on today's calendar date, in different years: a Byzantine emperor's accession, a medieval battle and a modern treaty might share the same October date.

You drag the six events into order, oldest at the top and latest at the bottom, and submit. The game marks which ones you placed correctly and highlights the ones out of place, then shows the years. Completing the Timeline Mode each day grows your streak.

There is a second mode, Before/After, which can be replayed whenever you like. Each round has six questions; in each, one event sits on the timeline and you place a second event from the same random day before or after it, with feedback on every move.

Because every event shares a date, you cannot lean on the season or the anniversary: the puzzle is purely about which century and which decade. It suits anyone who likes Chrono or Timdle and wants a different set each day.

How to play Historicale

  1. Open Historicale and choose Timeline Mode for the day.
  2. Read the six events; all of them happened on today's date in different years.
  3. Drag them into order, with the oldest at the top and the latest at the bottom.
  4. Submit to see which you placed correctly and the year of each event.
  5. Play Before/After mode for more, as often as you like.

Tips

  • Sort the events into rough eras first: ancient, medieval, early modern and modern.
  • Look for names of states or titles that only existed in one period, such as empires that ended.
  • Complete the daily Timeline Mode to keep your streak; Before/After does not count toward it.
