Every day: Daily Word mode gives one new hidden word each day to find in six guesses, with a streak and a longest-streak record kept on the phone. New puzzle: Not stated; a new word each day by the device's date (the game plays offline).

Word of the Day is an Android word-guessing game with a Daily Word mode: one new word each day, six guesses, and colour clues after every guess. Beside it are three unlimited modes that score you with numbers instead of colours. It plays offline, needs no account, and works in English and Arabic.
About Word of the Day (word guessing)
Word of the Day is a word-guessing app for Android by the developer amabed. Its main mode, Daily Word, sets one hidden word a day. You type a guess, the letters are coloured to show which ones are in the word and which are in the right place, and you have six tries to work it out. Solving it keeps your daily streak going, and the app records your longest streak and your wins and losses.
Three more modes sit beside the daily one and can be played as often as you like. Normal gives the same letter-by-letter colour clues. Medium drops the colours and tells you only how many letters are right and how many are in the right spot, in the manner of the old Bulls and Cows code game. Hard gives unlimited tries but only a count of correct letters. Each of these keeps its own high score.
The whole game runs on the phone without an internet connection, with no account or sign-up, and all four modes are open from the first launch. It can be played in English or Arabic; in Arabic the different forms of alif are treated as one letter, so guesses are not marked wrong over a hamza. A hint reveals a letter, and free players can get one by watching a short ad. The game is free with ads, and a one-time purchase removes them.
It suits players who want a Wordle-style word a day on their phone without being online, and Arabic speakers looking for a daily word puzzle in their own language.
How to play Word of the Day (word guessing)
- Open the app and choose Daily Word from the four modes.
- Type a word with the on-screen keyboard and press Enter.
- Read the colours on each letter: they show which letters are in the hidden word and which are already in the right place.
- Use those clues to make your next guess, and find the word within six tries.
- Come back the next day for a new word and to keep your streak going.
- For more play, pick Normal, Medium or Hard, which give a new word every time.

Tips
- The keyboard colours the letters you have tried, so check it before each guess to avoid letters already ruled out.
- In Medium mode, change one or two letters at a time between guesses so the change in the counts tells you which letters moved the score.
- A hint costs points in the scored modes, so save it for the last guesses rather than the first.
