Wordly, first released as GuessWord, is an Android word game in the Wordle mould: one hidden five-letter word a day, six tries, and coloured tiles after each guess. It plays fully offline with no account, in English, Russian or Ukrainian. Infinity mode keeps going with extra words once the daily one is done.
About Wordly: daily word game (Mamoru Software)
Wordly is a word-guessing game for Android from Mamoru Software. It came out as GuessWord and took its new name and icon in an update in October 2026. The rules, the daily word, your stats and your streaks carried over. Each day it sets one numbered five-letter word, the same for every player, and gives you six tries to find it. After each guess the tiles change colour. Cyan marks a letter in the right spot and coral a letter that is in the word somewhere else. Grey marks a letter that is not in the word.
The game can be played in English, Russian or Ukrainian. Switching the language in the settings changes the dictionary, the on-screen keyboard and the interface together. An earlier version of the listing also named Arabic, and the current one no longer does.
The dictionary ships inside the app, so the daily word and everything else work in airplane mode. The connection is only used for ads. There is no sign-up, no email and no password, and your progress stays on your phone.
Once today's word is solved, Infinity mode offers more words, each with a streak of its own. Every extra word after the first shows an ad. A hint button reveals one letter, but a win with a hint does not count toward your streak. A statistics screen shows games played, win percentage, current and longest streak, a guess distribution and ten achievements. A finished day can be shared as a grid of coloured squares, and a one-time purchase removes the ads. There is a dark and a light theme.
It suits players who want a plain Wordle-style daily on their phone that works without a connection, and players who want to play it in Russian or Ukrainian as well as English.
How to play Wordly: daily word game (Mamoru Software)
- Open the app and pick the game language in the settings if you want one other than the default.
- Type any five-letter word on the on-screen keyboard and press Enter to submit it.
- Read the tiles. Cyan means the letter is in the right spot, coral means it is in the word but elsewhere, and grey means it is not in the word.
- Use those clues for your next guess. The keyboard keeps the same colours, so you can see which letters are left.
- Find the word within six tries, then share your grid or carry on in Infinity mode.

Tips
- Leave the hint alone if you care about your streak. A win with a hint does not count toward it.
- The daily word is set per language, so switching to Russian or Ukrainian gives you another daily puzzle to solve.
- Since the game is offline, you can keep your daily streak going on a flight or with no signal.
Questions
Is Wordly the same game as GuessWord?
Yes. The app was renamed from GuessWord to Wordly in October 2026 with a new icon. The rules and the daily word stayed the same, and stats and streaks carried over.
Does Wordly need an internet connection?
No. The dictionary is inside the app and the game plays the same in airplane mode. The connection is only used to show ads.
When does the daily word change?
At midnight, according to the listing. It does not say which time zone.
Is Wordly free?
Yes, it is free with ads. Extra Infinity words after the first show an ad. A one-time purchase in the settings removes all ads, and there is no subscription.
Which languages can I play in?
English, Russian and Ukrainian. Changing the language switches the dictionary, the keyboard and the interface at once.
