Weatherdle
Rate itName the day's mystery city from a week of its real weather, in six guesses.
Every day: One mystery city a day for everyone, shown only by seven days of its real recent weather (highs and lows, rain, wind and sun strength) and its typical month; name it in six guesses. New at 00:00 UTC. New puzzle: 00:00 UTC.

Weatherdle shows you a week of a city's real weather and asks where it is. Each guess shows the distance and direction to the answer and colour-coded chips for climate, hemisphere and region. A guess within about 16 miles counts as solving it.
About Weatherdle
Weatherdle's clue is a row of seven day cards: the high and low temperature, rainfall, wind speed and direction, and sun strength for each day of the past week in the mystery city, with weather data from Open-Meteo. Below them is what is typical there for the month, from average highs and lows to humidity, rain and hours of sunshine. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
You type a city, or a country or US state to see well-known cities in it, and each guess comes back with the distance, an arrow toward the answer, a pin on a world map and three chips for climate, hemisphere and region, coloured for a match, a close match or a miss. Landing within about 16 miles, a neighbouring city, counts as a solve. Yesterday's answer is shown at the top, Kolkata in India on the day this page was written.
There are six guesses and one city a day for everyone, new at 00:00 UTC. Finishing each day grows your streak, and after seven days a streak freeze covers one missed day. A leaderboard, stats and a Which Week? side game sit in the menu.

- Use the distance, direction arrow and climate, hemisphere and region chips to make your next guess.
- Find the city, or land within about 16 miles, within six guesses.

Tips
- Check the date range against the temperatures: a cool week in late September suggests the north, a warming one may be the south.
- Rainfall and sun strength separate tropical, desert and temperate cities quickly.
- Make your first guess a big central city to get a useful distance and direction.
- Use the typical-month line to see whether the week was normal for that place.
