Trekdle
Rate itName the day's Star Trek episode from screenshots, with an easier still after every miss.
Every day: One Star Trek episode a day for every player, shown through up to six screenshots that get easier after each miss, plus a daily multiple-choice round of six stills from six series. New puzzle: Midnight (a new puzzle every day at midnight, by the game's own note).

Trekdle shows you a screenshot from one Star Trek episode each day and asks which episode it is. You get six chances, and every wrong guess or skip reveals a clearer image. A second daily mode gives six stills from six different series with four answers to choose from.
About Trekdle
Trekdle is a fan-made daily guessing game for Star Trek viewers. Each day it picks one episode from across the whole franchise on television, from The Original Series and The Animated Series through The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise to Discovery, Picard, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Prodigy and the Short Treks.
The Daily Challenge opens on a still that shows only a small or subtle detail of the episode. You type into a search box to pick an episode by title, and if you are wrong, or skip, the next of six stills appears, each one easier to place than the last. Getting it on the first image is the aim; after six misses the day is lost.
The Daily Multiple Choice mode is a gentler second puzzle: six rounds, one still from each of six series, with four episode titles to choose between for each. Both daily modes have unlimited practice versions on the same menu for players who want more than one puzzle a day.
It sits beside Whodle (Doctor Who) and Episodle (any TV show) as a frame-guessing game, but asks for the exact episode rather than the series, so it suits viewers who know the shows well.
How to play Trekdle

- Search for an episode title and submit it as your guess, or press Skip.
- After each wrong guess or skip a new, easier screenshot appears; you have six chances in all.
- Afterwards, try the Daily Multiple Choice: six stills from six series, four titles to choose from for each.

Tips
- Uniforms, ship interiors and the picture's colour and aspect ratio narrow down the series before you think about the episode.
- Skipping costs a guess just as a wrong answer does, so guess when you have a plausible title.
- Use Practice Mode to learn the look of series you watch less often.
