D'ohrdle
Rate itName the Simpsons episode from one line of its dialogue.
Every day: One line of Simpsons dialogue a day, the same for everyone: guess the episode it comes from, with a new hint about the episode, character and location after each wrong guess. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

D'ohrdle is a free daily Simpsons trivia game. Each day everyone gets the same line of dialogue from the show, and you pick the episode it comes from out of a scrolling list. Every wrong guess reveals another hint: who says it, where, and details of the episode.
About D'ohrdle
D'ohrdle is a quote game for people who know The Simpsons by heart. Each day it shows one line of dialogue, the same for every player, with the speaker, the place and the episode hidden behind question marks. Your job is to name the episode.
You guess by scrolling through the list of episodes, each shown with its season and episode number and title, and tapping one. A wrong guess reveals a new hint about the episode, the character who speaks the line or the location where it is said, so the quote gets easier to place as you go. You can take as many tries as you need; the score is how few you used.
The lines are parsed automatically from the episodes' screenplays, and the settings show which seasons the pool of dialogue is drawn from and the shortest line it will use. A Hard Mode gives fewer hints, a Practice mode beside the Daily one plays random lines without waiting for tomorrow, and your statistics, average guesses and streak are kept in the browser, with an export to move them to another device.
The game was made by torrobinson from an idea by cjshmyr, and runs free in the browser with no account. It suits fans of the classic seasons who can hear a line and picture the scene.

Tips
- Who would say the line narrows it quickly: a Burns line points to a different set of episodes than a Ralph line.
- Use the location hint to rule out whole seasons.
- Turn on Hard Mode once the normal hints feel too generous.
- Use Practice mode to warm up on random lines.
