Every day: One hidden Simpsons character a day, the same for everyone, new at midnight GMT: six guesses, each answered with clues on gender, age, family relation and number of appearances. New puzzle: Midnight GMT.

Simpsle is a free daily guessing game about The Simpsons. Each day there is one hidden character, the same for everyone, and you have six guesses. Every guess tells you whether the hidden character has the same gender, is older or younger, is related to the one you named, and has appeared more or less often.
About Simpsle
Simpsle takes the daily guessing format and points it at Springfield. One character from The Simpsons is hidden each day, and every player is looking for the same one. A new character arrives at midnight GMT.
You type a name into the guess box and pick from the list of characters. Each guess fills one of six yellow rows with four clues. The first says whether the hidden character is the same gender as your guess. The second says whether they are older, younger or about the same age. The third says whether the two are related, counting parents and grandparents, children, siblings, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, husbands and wives, ex-spouses and in-laws. The last says whether the hidden character has had more, fewer or a similar number of appearances on the show.
The family clue is what sets it apart from most character guessers: a guess from the right household can close in on the answer even when the other clues miss. The appearances clue rewards knowing the show's long tail of side characters, not just the family at its centre.
The game runs in the browser with no account, keeps your played count, win rate, streaks and guess distribution on your device, and lets you copy a result to share. It suits anyone who knows the show well, from the Simpson family out to the regulars of Moe's.
How to play Simpsle
- Open Simpsle in your browser to get the day's hidden character.
- Type a character's name in the guess box and choose it from the list, then press Guess.
- Read the four clues on your row: same gender, older or younger, related or not, and more or fewer appearances.
- Use those clues to pick a better next guess.
- Name the hidden character within six guesses, then copy your result to share.
Tips
- Start with a character from a big family, such as a Simpson or a Flanders, so the relation clue can tell you something.
- Use the appearances clue to tell main characters from one-episode guests early.
- After two or three guesses, narrow by age before guessing names at random.
