Arknights Wordle is one of the fan minigames on amiya.io, a site built around Arknights, the tower defense game by Hypergryph and Studio Montagne. The page credits it to spoce. Despite its name it is a -dle in the style of LoLdle rather than a word game: the thing you guess is an operator, and there are no letters to place.

Each day there is one operator to find, the same for everyone, and you have eight tries. Type an operator's name, pick it from the list, and a row appears comparing it with the answer across Gender, Race, Faction, Tags, Position, Class, Archetype, DP Cost and Rarity. Green means the attribute is right, orange means close (higher or lower, or partly right) and gray means wrong. If you are stuck, the lightbulb reveals a hint about the target operator that you do not already know, and the red flag lets you give up.

Hard mode changes the columns to numbers from the operator's top promotion stats: HP, ATK, DEF and Block beside DP cost, position, class, archetype and rarity, which asks for a closer knowledge of the roster. Above the board the page shows yesterday's operator, a count of players who have already found today's, and a countdown to the next puzzle, which arrives at midnight New York time. When you finish you can share a grid of coloured squares with the number of hints you used, or switch to Unlimited mode for as many random rounds as you like.

It suits Arknights players who know their operators by faction and archetype, and the hint button keeps it approachable for newer Doctors.

How to play Arknights Wordle (amiya.io)

1. Open the page and type the name of any Arknights operator in the box.
2. Pick the operator from the list to place your guess.
3. Read the row of clues: green is a correct attribute, orange is close (higher, lower or partly right), gray is wrong.
4. Use what matched to choose your next operator, and press the lightbulb if you want a hint.
5. Find the operator within eight tries, then share your result or switch to Unlimited for more rounds.

Tips

• Faction and Class cut the roster fastest, so start with an operator from a large faction and a common class.
• An orange DP Cost or Rarity tells you to go higher or lower; use it to pin down the star level early.
• Hints never repeat what you already know, so save them for when only a few operators are left.
• Try Hard mode once Normal feels easy: the columns turn into HP, ATK, DEF and Block numbers.
