Genshindle is a daily guessing game for Genshin Impact, with modes for Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero too. Each day you have five tries to name a character from attribute clues, and separate daily puzzles give you a voice line, an ability icon or a row of emoji. Endless versions of each mode let you keep playing past the daily.
About Genshindle
Genshindle is a fan-made daily guessing game built around miHoYo's games, mainly Genshin Impact, with its own sets for Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero reachable from the top of the page. It is not official.
The main mode is a character puzzle. You type a character's name and the game compares them with the day's hidden character across attributes such as element or damage type, weapon, region, rarity and gender, colouring each to show a match, a near miss or a miss, much like Worldle's country games. You have five tries. Alongside it run other daily puzzles on the same roster: a quote mode that shows a voice line to trace to its speaker, an ability mode that shows a skill icon, and an emoji mode that describes a character in a row of emoji. Each daily is the same for everyone and resets at midnight UTC.
If one round a day is not enough, every mode has an endless version that serves fresh puzzles back to back. Progress and streaks are kept in your browser, and the game is updated as new characters and voice lines are added to the source games.
It is free and carries ads. It suits players who follow these games closely and know the characters by their kits, regions and voices.
How to play Genshindle
- Pick a mode: the daily character guess, or the quote, ability or emoji puzzle (and switch between Genshin, Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero at the top).
- Type a character's name and submit your guess.
- Read the attribute columns: each is coloured to show a match, a near miss or a miss against the hidden character.
- Use the clues from each guess to narrow the roster; you have five tries.
- Name the character, then try the other daily puzzles or switch to an endless mode.
Tips
- Open with a character whose region, element and weapon you know, so the first row of colours rules out a lot.
- For the quote mode, listen for speech patterns and named places rather than just the words.
- Use endless mode to learn the attribute layout before you spend the day's five tries.

How many guesses do I get?
Five tries for each daily puzzle. Endless modes let you keep going with new puzzles after the daily.
Is it only Genshin Impact?
No. Genshin is the main game, but there are separate modes for Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, chosen at the top of the page.
What are the different modes?
A character guess from attribute clues, a quote (voice line) mode, an ability-icon mode and an emoji mode, each with a daily and an endless version.
When does it reset?
