GachaHaven Wordle sits on GachaHaven, a fan site for gacha games that also carries redeem codes, a pity calculator and maps. Its daily puzzle takes the Wordle formula and points it at three games: every answer is a character name, or a short form of one, from Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail or Wuthering Waves.

The answer is the same for everyone and changes at midnight UTC. The names are taken in turn from a fixed list of 63 characters, spread fairly evenly over the three games, so a name you solved comes around again after about nine weeks. Unlike classic Wordle, the word is not always five letters: the grid grows or shrinks to fit the day's name, so a Zhongli or a Calcharo gets the room it needs. A small badge under the grid names the game the character comes from, which narrows the field before your first guess.

Each guess must be as long as the grid. Letters in the right place turn green, letters in the name but elsewhere turn yellow, and letters not in it turn gray. If you are stuck, the Hint button gives a short in-universe title or nickname for the character without spoiling story events. When you finish, or run out of the six guesses, you can copy a grid of coloured squares to share on Discord or elsewhere.

There is no account to make: progress for the day stays in your browser. There are no streaks or statistics, and the site around the game carries Google ads. It suits players of these three games who know the rosters well, and it is a gentler start than character-guessing games built on attribute tables, since spelling knowledge carries you a long way.

How to play GachaHaven Wordle

1. Open the Wordle page on GachaHaven and look at the badge under the grid to see which game today's character is from.
2. Count the tiles in a row: the answer has exactly that many letters.
3. Type a character name of that length and press Enter.
4. Read the colours: green is the right letter in the right spot, yellow is in the name but in another spot, gray is not in the name.
5. Use the colours to narrow the roster and guess again, with six guesses in all.
6. Press Hint for a short in-universe clue if you are stuck, then share your score grid when you finish.

• The grid length rules out most of the roster at once: list the characters of that game whose names fit before your first guess.
• Answers can be a short name rather than a full one, so think of the name players use most often.
• Save the hint for the last two guesses; it names a title or nickname rather than letters.
