About Umadle

Umadle is a fan-made daily puzzle for players of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the game of horse girls named after real racehorses. It works like the character guessers made for other games: pick a name, see how it compares, and close in on the answer.

The daily Statistics mode gives you five tries to find one character. After each guess a row of tiles compares that character with the hidden one: the Uma herself, her best surface, her bonuses, and her ratings in the game's training stats, speed, stamina, power, guts and wit. The page shows yesterday's answer and keeps a win streak.

The Trivia mode, added more recently, has its own daily character: instead of numbers you get fun facts from the Umamusume world and name the horse girl they describe, again in five tries. An endless Statistics mode lets you keep playing after the daily rounds. The same maker runs Genshindle and WuWadle for other games.

It suits Umamusume players who know the roster and its numbers, and the Trivia mode suits fans who know the characters' stories better than their stats.

How to play Umadle

1. Open the daily Statistics mode and pick a character from the name list.
2. Read the row of tiles: Uma, surface, bonuses and the five training stats compared with the answer.
3. Use the matches and differences to choose your next character.
4. Find her within five tries, then play the Trivia mode's daily character from fun facts.

Tips

• Start with a character whose stats are middling so the comparisons tell you which way to move.
• The surface tile splits the roster quickly between turf and dirt specialists.
• Yesterday's answer is shown on the page, so it can be ruled out today.
