Bonedle shows a League of Legends champion as a bare 3D skeleton and plays one of its animations, such as a spell cast, a dance or a laugh. You have three tries to name the champion, and each miss unlocks another animation. When the round ends the full model appears.

About Bonedle

Bonedle is a League of Legends guessing game built around movement rather than pictures or stats. The day's champion is loaded as a 3D model with the mesh hidden, so all you see is its bones. You can rotate and zoom the skeleton while it plays an animation taken from the champion itself.

Each daily puzzle has three tries and three animation clues. The first clue is shown from the start; a wrong guess unlocks the next one, which might be another ability, a joke or a dance. After a wrong guess the game also tells you how many other players made the same guess. When you solve it or run out of tries, the skin comes back on and you see the champion whole. A hidden hardcore option gives five tries instead, and a second daily set, Shadow, runs alongside the main one.

The puzzle changes at midnight in your own time zone, and arrows let you step back to earlier days. An endless mode and shareable challenge links are there for more play. It is free in the browser with ads. It suits League players who know champions by their silhouettes and ability motions, and anyone who finds stat-based dles too easy.

How to play Bonedle

  1. Open Bonedle and watch the skeleton play its first animation.
  2. Rotate or zoom the model to look at its shape and weapons from other angles.
  3. Type the champion you think it is.
  4. After a miss, watch the newly unlocked animation and use the count of other players' guesses.
  5. Name the champion within three tries to solve the day, then share your result.

Tips

  • Look at body size and limb count first: large or four-legged skeletons rule out most of the roster.
  • Ability animations show weapon swings and casting stances that are easier to read than idle poses.
  • Dances and jokes often copy famous moves, so they can give away a champion quickly once you recall them.
  • Use the previous-day arrows to practise on old puzzles.
