Rankdle

Watch a player's gameplay clip and guess their rank, a new set every day for each game.

Every day: New gameplay clips every day for each supported game, the same for every player: watch a player's clip and guess their rank, or their Elo in chess. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Rankdle shows short gameplay clips sent in by players and asks you to guess what rank the player is. Each supported game, from League of Legends and Valorant to Rocket League, Fortnite and chess, gets new daily clips, and you score by how close your guesses come.

About Rankdle

Rankdle is a guess-the-rank game. Competitive games sort players into ranks, and Rankdle asks how well you can read skill from play alone. Each clip is real gameplay submitted by a player, and after watching it you pick the rank you think they hold. For chess, the question is the player's Elo rating instead.

There is a separate daily for each game. The list covers League of Legends, Valorant, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Counter-Strike, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite and chess, and every player gets the same clips for a game on a given day. After guessing you see the real rank and how close you were, and the site keeps streaks and statistics per game.

Rankdle also runs live events, where a streamer hosts a session of viewer-submitted clips and the audience votes on each rank before the host guesses. That side of the site is aimed at content creators, while the daily clips are for anyone.

It suits players of those games who like judging decision-making and mechanics, and it rewards knowing what each rank tends to get wrong.

How to play Rankdle

  1. Open Rankdle and choose a game.
  2. Watch the day's first clip.
  3. Pick the rank you think the player holds, or their Elo in chess.
  4. See the real rank and how close you were, then move to the next clip.
  5. Finish the day's clips for that game, then try another game.

Tips

  • Watch decision-making as much as mechanics: positioning and target choice often show rank better than aim.
  • Lower ranks tend to over-commit and chase; higher ranks waste less movement.
  • In chess, look for whether obvious tactics are spotted or missed.
