Episodle
Name the TV show from a frame of one of its episodes, in six guesses.
Every day: One TV show a day, the same for every player: you see frames from one of its episodes and have six guesses to name the series. Past days are playable in an archive. New puzzle: At midnight in your own time zone (the game picks the puzzle by your local date).

Episodle shows you a still from an episode of a well-known TV series and asks you to name the show. A wrong guess reveals another frame, and you have six attempts. There is one show a day, a daily streak, and an archive of earlier days.
About Episodle
Episodle is a daily guessing game for television fans. It shows you a still frame from an episode of a well-known TV series and asks you to name the show. One series is set for each day, the same for every player, chosen by the date.
You have six tries. Each wrong guess, or a deliberate skip, reveals another frame from the same episode, so you gather more to work with as you go. Naming the show within the six frames solves the day and keeps your run going.
The game tracks a daily streak: play each day to grow it, and a missed calendar day resets it, though you get a few streak restores a month that refill on their own. Earlier days stay playable in an archive, and the frames are drawn from a large film and TV image database.
It suits people who watch a lot of television and can place a series from a single scene, its setting or its on-screen details. It runs in the browser and is free, supported by ads.
How to play Episodle
- Open episodle.me to see the day's first episode frame.
- Type the name of the TV series you think it is and submit your guess.
- If you are wrong or choose to skip, another frame from the same episode is revealed; you get up to six in all.
- Name the show within six tries to solve the day and keep your daily streak.
- Come back each day for a new show, and use the archive to play earlier days.
Tips
- Look past the lead actors to the background: setting, era, signage and any on-screen text often pin a show down.
- If you have no idea, spend a guess to reveal another frame rather than throwing away a wild name.
- Genre cues such as lighting, aspect ratio and animation style narrow the field quickly.
- Play every day to build your streak; a missed day resets it, but you have a few restores each month.
