Themedle (DailyJamm)
Rate itName the TV show from the first seconds of its theme song, in six tries.
Every day: One TV theme song a day, the same for every player, picked from the date in Chicago; you get six tries, with the clip growing from 1 to 15 seconds. New puzzle: Midnight America/Chicago (Central Time).

Themedle plays a clip of one TV theme song a day, starting at a single second. Each miss or skip makes the clip longer, up to 15 seconds, and you have six guesses to name the show.
About Themedle (DailyJamm)
Themedle is a daily listening game on DailyJamm. Each day it picks one theme song and plays you the start of it, one second at first. You type the show's name, choose it from the list that appears, and find out whether you were right. A wrong guess or a skip opens a longer clip: 2, 3, 5, 10 and then 15 seconds.
The songs are mostly from children's and family television of the 1990s and 2000s, shows such as Rugrats, Arthur, Kim Possible and Ed Edd n Eddy, alongside sitcoms and dramas like Friends, Cheers, The X-Files and Game of Thrones. If you grew up with Saturday morning cartoons and after-school shows, many of these will be familiar.
The day's song is the same for everyone, chosen from the date in America/Chicago, and a new one arrives at midnight Central Time. A countdown on the page shows how long until the next song. When you finish you can share a row of coloured marks for each attempt with its clip length, and the stats panel keeps your games played, win rate and streak.
It works like Heardle, but the answer is a TV show rather than a song title or artist. The page notes that it is a fan-made game and not affiliated with the shows' owners.
How to play Themedle (DailyJamm)
- Press Play to hear the first second of the day's theme song.
- Type the show's name in the search box and pick it from the suggestions.
- Submit your guess, or press Skip to hear a longer clip instead.
- Each miss or skip lengthens the clip: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 15 seconds.
- Name the show within six attempts to keep your streak, then share your result.
Tips
- Turn the volume slider up before the first play: one second is short, and the opening note is often the whole clue.
- Skipping costs a guess just like a wrong answer, so if a title comes to mind, try it.
- Think of the channel the sound suggests: a puppet show jingle, a cartoon orchestra hit and a sitcom guitar riff point to different shows.
- The autocomplete only accepts titles in its list, so typing part of a name shows which shows are possible.
