CR-dle (Critdle)
Rate itName the day's Critical Role character from race, class, campaign and player, in ten guesses.
Every day: One Critical Role character a day, chosen from the date, so everyone on the same date gets the same one; ten guesses, with a calendar of past puzzles. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time zone.

CR-dle, at critdle.com, picks one Critical Role character a day. Each guess shows how that character's race, class, campaign, type, gender, status and player compare with the answer, and you have ten tries, with a hint after five.
About CR-dle (Critdle)
CR-dle is a daily guessing game for fans of Critical Role, the long-running show in which Matthew Mercer and his cast play Dungeons & Dragons. The answer is one character from across the campaigns: player characters from Vox Machina, the Mighty Nein and Bells Hells, guest characters, and the many NPCs voiced by the Dungeon Master.
You type a character's name and choose them from the list. Each guess becomes a row of seven tiles: race, class, campaign, type (main player character, guest player character or NPC), gender, status (alive, dead or unknown) and the cast member who plays them. Tiles show whether each matches the answer. You have ten guesses, and after five you can ask for a hint.
The puzzle is dated (Daily, 6 Oct 2026) and the character is chosen from the date, so everyone playing on the same calendar day gets the same one; it changes at midnight where you are. A Past Puzzles calendar lets you go back and play earlier days, and a Playtest mode gives practice rounds outside the daily. You can share your result when you finish.
It suits viewers who know the cast and their characters across campaigns, and players of D&D who like the attribute-guess format.
How to play CR-dle (Critdle)
- Type a Critical Role character's name in the search box and pick them from the list.
- Read the seven tiles: race, class, campaign, type, gender, status and player, each marked as a match or not.
- Narrow the field with each guess; after five guesses you can request a hint.
- Name the day's character within ten guesses.
- Share your result, or open Past Puzzles to play earlier days.
Tips
- The player column narrows things fast: guess a character played by a main cast member to rule them in or out.
- Many answers are NPCs voiced by Matthew Mercer, so do not spend every guess on the main parties.
- Campaign and status together cut the list sharply: a dead NPC from one campaign leaves few names.
- Save the hint for when you are down to a few candidates; it unlocks after your fifth guess.
