Snaptrip
Guess where five travel photos were taken, with one shared set a day.
Every day: Five travel photos a day in the daily challenge, the same for every player: drop a pin on the world map for each one and score by distance on a global daily ranking. New puzzle: Once a day (the site does not state the hour).

Snaptrip is a daily photo geography quiz on the web and iPhone. Each day's challenge shows five real travel photos; you study each one, drop a pin on the map and score more the closer you get. Players can submit their own photos to the game.
About Snaptrip
Snaptrip asks a simple question five times a day: where was this photo taken? The daily challenge serves the same five pictures to everyone, real travel shots of cities, landmarks and landscapes. For each one you look at the photo, which you can open full size, then place a pin on the world map, drag it to adjust, and confirm your guess. The game shows how far off you were and scores the round, and your total goes on a global daily ranking.
Outside the daily, a practice round serves unlimited photos just for fun, and Play with friends lets you share a code and compare scores. The photos come from players: anyone can submit a travel picture to be used in the game, and each photo has a report button.
Snaptrip runs in the browser at snaptrip.app and as a free iPhone app released in 2026 by Mateusz Twardy. The app has no ads, and anonymous play works without an account.
It suits players who like GeoGuessr-style guessing but want a short set of fixed photos a day rather than Street View.

Tips
- Look at road markings, number plates and the side of the road cars drive on.
- Vegetation and light tell you the climate band before any landmark does.
- Zoom the map in before placing the pin; small shifts can save hundreds of kilometres.
