Pricer (Mind Loft)
One real product a day: guess its price in five tries.
Every day: One real product a day, the same for every player, with five guesses at the price Amazon showed that day. Each guess says higher or lower and how close (Freezing to Burning); the closest guess scores 0 to 10. Daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Pricer is a free daily price guessing game from Mind Loft. Each day shows one real product sold on Amazon, and you have five guesses at its price. After each one you learn whether to go higher or lower and how hot you are, and your closest guess is your score out of 10.
About Pricer (Mind Loft)
Pricer is a price guessing game on Mind Loft, a free site of daily browser games. Each day one real product is shown to everyone, anything from hot sauce to a laptop, and the answer is the price Amazon listed for it on the date shown with the item.
You get five guesses. After each one an arrow says higher or lower, and a temperature says how close you are, from Freezing through Cold, Cool, Warm and Hot to Burning. Closeness is measured as a ratio, so guessing half the price is as far off as guessing double. Your score is your closest guess on a scale of 0 to 10: within 1% is a bullseye that scores 10 and ends the day, within 5% scores 8, within 15% scores 6 and within 50% scores 3.
Ties on the leaderboard go to the closer guess, then to fewer guesses, then to time. You can type short forms such as 1.2k for $1,200 or 3.5m for $3,500,000.
Pricer is also the first of five games in Mind Loft's Price Check, which plays Pricer, Dealer, Realtor, Agent and Curator back to back for one score out of 50. A new product goes up at midnight US Eastern Time. Product links go to the store listing and carry Mind Loft's affiliate tag. It suits players of Costcodle or Spendle who like a single quick estimate a day.
How to play Pricer (Mind Loft)
- Open mindloftdaily.com/pricer and press Start to see the day's product.
- Type a price guess and submit it.
- Read the arrow (higher or lower) and the temperature (Freezing to Burning).
- Adjust and guess again, up to five times; within 1% is a bullseye that ends the day.
- Your closest guess becomes your score out of 10 on the daily leaderboard.
Tips
- Bracket the price: a Cold answer means you are off by more than 75%, so make the next guess a big jump.
- Save the small steps for when you reach Hot or Burning.
- Think in ratios, since half and double count as equally far.
- Use 1.2k or 3.5m shorthand for big numbers.
