Agent (Mind Loft)
Guess what a named flight or hotel night costs, in five tries.
Every day: One trip a day, a named flight or a hotel stay, the same for every player, with five guesses at the price that was quoted and a daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Agent is a free daily price game from Mind Loft. Each day shows one trip, a specific flight with its airline, date, time and cabin, or a hotel stay, and you get five guesses at the quoted price. Your closest guess is your score out of 10.
About Agent (Mind Loft)
Agent is one of the price-guessing dailies on Mind Loft. The day's card names one trip in detail: for a flight that means the airline, the route, the day and date, the departure time, the cabin and whether it is nonstop or one way; on other days it is a night in a hotel. Below the card you type a dollar figure, and you have five tries to get close to the price Mind Loft was quoted.
Every guess comes back with an arrow saying higher or lower and a hot or cold reading, so the five tries work like a narrowing search. The score is set by your closest guess, from 0 to 10, and landing within one percent counts as a bullseye. Because everyone gets the same trip, the leaderboard sorts players by score, then by how close the best guess was, then by fewer guesses and finally by time.
Agent is also one leg of Price Check, a Mind Loft circuit that plays Pricer, Dealer, Realtor, Agent and Curator one after another for a single score out of 50. It suits people who book their own travel and like to think they know what a business seat or a city hotel should cost.
How to play Agent (Mind Loft)
- Open Agent on mindloftdaily.com and press Start; the clock begins when you do.
- Read the trip card: airline, route, date, time and cabin for a flight, or the hotel and night for a stay.
- Type a price and press Enter (shorthand like 45k or 2.5m works).
- Use the higher or lower arrow and the hot or cold reading to adjust your next guess.
- After five guesses your closest one sets your score out of 10.

Tips
- Cabin class moves the price far more than the route: a business or first seat can cost several times the economy fare.
- Use your first guess to bracket the price, then halve the gap with each later guess.
- Hot or cold tells you how near you are, so a cold reading after a small change means you need a much bigger jump.
Questions
What time does Agent reset?
A new Agent trip goes up every day at midnight US Eastern Time, the same for every player.
Is Agent free?
Yes. Agent plays in the browser on Mind Loft with no app and no account. Signing up with a display name (no password) puts your result on the daily leaderboard; an email is optional.
Can I play earlier Agent puzzles?
Yes. Mind Loft keeps an archive of past Agent boards together with each day's standings.
How is Agent scored?
Your closest guess of the five gives a score from 0 to 10, and a guess within 1% of the quoted price is a bullseye. Ties on the leaderboard break on exact closeness, then fewer guesses, then time.
What is Price Check?
A Mind Loft circuit that plays its five price games, Pricer, Dealer, Realtor, Agent and Curator, back to back for one score out of 50.
