Balancedle
Rotate and drop the day's odd shape so it balances on a point, in as few attempts as possible.
Every day: One irregular shape a day, generated from the date and the same for everyone, to drop onto a point so that it balances, in as few attempts as you can. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (the day's shape is seeded from the UTC date in the game's code).

Balancedle gives everyone the same irregular polygon each day and asks you to balance it. You turn the shape, move it over the support and let go; if its centre of mass is not over the point, it tips and you try again. Your score is the number of attempts.
About Balancedle
Balancedle is a small physics puzzle about judging a centre of mass by eye. Each day the game generates one polygon from the date, so every player gets the same shape. It is lopsided on purpose: several corners, uneven sides, and a balance point that is rarely where it first looks.
Controls are simple. Dragging outside the shape rotates it, dragging inside moves it, and releasing drops it. When it lands it either settles on the point or tips off, and the game nudges you to look for a flat surface and find the centre of mass. You keep trying until it balances.
Your result is the number of attempts, and the stats show your average, days played, current and best streak and a global distribution of how many tries others needed. The stats appear after you finish the day's puzzle.
It suits players who like a quick, wordless daily with a physical feel, and anyone who enjoys the moment a wobbling shape finally settles.
How to play Balancedle
- Open Balancedle to see the day's shape.
- Drag outside the shape to rotate it so a flat side faces the support.
- Drag inside the shape to move it over the point.
- Release to drop it and see whether it balances.
- Repeat until it stays put, then check your stats and share.
Tips
- Find a flat side first; a corner almost never balances.
- The balance point sits towards the heavier, bulkier part of the shape, not its middle.
- Change one thing at a time between attempts, either the angle or the position.
- If it tips left, move the shape left over the point next time.
