Balanced (Freehand)
Rate itSlide the fulcrum to where an uneven shape will hold level, five shapes a day.
Every day: Five irregular shapes a day, one attempt each, the same five for every player, dated on the start screen. New puzzle: Once a day.

Balanced is a daily centre-of-mass game from Freehand: an odd shape sits above a fulcrum, and you slide it to the one point where the shape would hold level. Five shapes a day, one try each, scored on how far the shape tips when you let go.
About Balanced (Freehand)
Balanced puts an irregular object on screen, heavy at one end and hollowed out at the other, with a small triangle fulcrum under it. You slide the fulcrum along the bottom edge to where you think the weight really sits, then let go and watch the object settle or tip.
The point is that the balance point is rarely the middle of the shape. Holes, towers and thick ends pull it one way or the other, and the further the object tips, the further you were from the right spot. That distance is what each round is scored on.
Each day brings five shapes, the same five for everyone, and you get one attempt at each. The start screen shows the date and reminds you it is one attempt, and there is a multiplayer mode beside the daily.
Balanced is one of six daily estimation games on Freehand, alongside angle, cutting, landing, counting and timing games, so it suits players who like short tests of judgement rather than words or trivia.
How to play Balanced (Freehand)
- Open Balanced and press Play on today's date.
- Look at the shape and where its mass is: solid blocks, holes and heavy ends.
- Slide the fulcrum under the point where you think the shape would hold level.
- Let go and watch how far it tips; less tipping scores better.
- Repeat for all five shapes, then compare your score.

Tips
- Ignore the outline's middle and think about where the material is.
- Holes take weight away, so move the fulcrum away from them.
- A tall block counts for more than a wide thin strip of the same length.
Questions

How is Balanced scored?
