Tilt
Rate itHow many golf balls weigh as much as a soccer ball? Balance the scale by eye.
Every day: One numbered puzzle a day, the same for everyone: five weighing rounds, each asking how many of one thing balance another, for up to 500 points. New puzzle: Once a day.

Tilt puts one thing on the left of a balance scale and asks how many of something else it takes to balance it on the right, such as golf balls against a soccer ball. You pile them on or type a number, then weigh it. Five rounds a day, scored out of 500.
About Tilt
Tilt is a daily weighing game made by one indie developer. Each numbered puzzle has five rounds. In every round a single object sits in one pan of a scale and a question asks how many of a second, smaller object it would take to balance it, sometimes with a note such as which kind of ball is meant.
You drag a slider that runs on a scale from 1 to 10 million, nudge it with plus and minus buttons, or tap the number to type it. The scale stays locked while you guess, so you cannot watch it tip; when you press Weigh it, the scale swings and you see how close you were. The closer the guess, the more points, up to 100 a round and 500 for the day.
You can share your result, and every past puzzle stays playable from a calendar, adding to your stats but not your streak. Watching a short ad unlocks five bonus rounds. An optional Tilt+ subscription, $2.99 a month, opens the full archive beyond 30 days, unlimited bonus rounds, no ads and a synced streak. The same maker runs It Took, a daily game about how many helium balloons it takes to lift things.
It suits players who like Fermi questions and anyone who has ever wondered how many honeybees weigh as much as a horse.

Tips
- Estimate each object's weight in grams first, then divide.
- The slider jumps by factors of ten, so get the order of magnitude right before fine-tuning.
- Read the small note under the question: it often fixes which kind of object is meant.
