Halfsies
Rate itCut five 3D objects a day exactly in half, by weight.
Every day: Five numbered 3D objects a day, the same for everyone, each to be cut exactly in half by weight; the scale shows how close you got. New puzzle: Once a day.

Halfsies gives you five objects a day, from a watermelon to a pear, and asks you to slice each one so both halves weigh the same. You line up the knife, cut, and a scale shows the split, such as 51 to 49. The score is your average miss, and you can see where everyone else cut.
About Halfsies
Halfsies is a daily test of your eye for volume. Each day has a numbered set of five 3D objects, the same for every player. You turn the object, line up the knife and cut, and the two pieces drop onto a scale that shows each half's share of the weight.
The catch is that halfway along an object is rarely half its weight. A pear is heavy at the bottom, a bottle at its base, and odd shapes put most of their mass where you least expect it. You can hold to peek before you commit, and the arrows say which side came out heavier.
Your score for the day is your average miss across the five cuts, and after each cut you can see where everyone else sliced the same object. Objects you cut go into a cabinet of 50 to collect, and a streak counts the days you play.
Finishing the day unlocks bonus thirds, where you cut into three equal parts, and an Endless mode gives three lives. Past days can be played from a calendar. It is made by one person, free in the browser, and also on the App Store.

Tips
- Think about where the mass sits, not where the middle is: the wide or dense end needs the cut moved towards it.
- Use hold to peek before you cut.
- Practise in Endless or on past days before you play the daily set.
