Curator (Mind Loft)
Guess what a luxury piece or auction lot cost, in five tries.
Every day: One luxury piece a day, the same for every player: a work sold at auction or a luxury item at list price, with five guesses at what it cost and a daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Curator is a free daily price game from Mind Loft. Each day shows one luxury piece, either a work sold at auction (priced with the buyer's premium) or a luxury item at its list price, and you have five guesses at the price. Your closest guess sets your score out of 10.
About Curator (Mind Loft)
Curator is the high-end member of Mind Loft's price-guessing family. The day's card shows a single piece with a photo, a name and a few details: on some days it is an artwork or object sold at auction, with the price including the buyer's premium; on others it is a luxury item, such as a jewellery piece at its retail price on the maker's site, with the date it was priced.
You type a dollar figure (shorthand such as 45k or 2.5m works) and get five tries. Each guess comes back marked higher or lower and hot or cold. The closest of your five sets your score from 0 to 10, and a guess within 1 percent counts as a bullseye. On the leaderboard, ties break on how close you got, then fewer guesses, then time.
Curator is the fifth game in Price Check, Mind Loft's circuit that plays Pricer, Dealer, Realtor, Agent and Curator back to back for a score out of 50. It suits people who follow auctions or luxury brands, and anyone curious about how far apart a guess and the real price can be.
How to play Curator (Mind Loft)
- Open Curator and press Start; the clock starts when you do.

- Type your price and press Enter.
- Use the higher or lower and hot or cold feedback to narrow your next guess; after five, your closest guess is your score.

Tips
- Auction prices include the buyer's premium, so they run higher than the hammer price you may have read about.
- Use a wide first guess to find the right order of magnitude; luxury prices can differ by a factor of ten.
- Shorthand like 120k or 1.5m saves time on big numbers.
Questions
What time does Curator reset?
A new Curator piece goes up every day at midnight US Eastern Time, the same for every player.
Is Curator free?
Yes. Curator plays in the browser on Mind Loft with no app and no account. Signing up with a display name (no password) puts your result on the daily leaderboard; an email is optional.
Can I play earlier Curator puzzles?
Yes. Mind Loft keeps an archive of past Curator boards together with each day's standings.
