Last Call #3: the dwarf Sleepy faces a Goblin Berserker and a Gazer in the tavern, with a hand of Careless Attack, Defend, Hold Fast and Bulwark cards

Last Call is a free daily puzzle from Lone Piggy built on the combat of its upcoming deckbuilder Kegs of Eternity. Each day brings one fight in a fantasy tavern, the same for everyone: you play a fixed hand of cards in a single turn to take down every enemy, or on some days just to survive their attack. You get three rounds, and the fights grow harder from Monday to Sunday.

About Last Call (Lone Piggy)

Last Call is a small browser game from Lone Piggy, the studio making the roguelite deckbuilder Kegs of Eternity, which is listed on Steam. It takes that game's combat rules and turns them into a single puzzle a day, set at last call in the tavern of eternity. The first puzzle went up on 5 October 2026, and each day's fight is numbered.

You control one dwarf with a bar of Action Points and a hand of cards such as Attack, Defend, Heavy Blow or Bulwark. Each enemy shows what it will do when you end your turn. Most days the goal is to take down every enemy before you end your turn; some days it is to survive their attack. Strength, Agility, Armor, Divine Shield, Thorns and beers that cost 1 AP all change the sums, and holding or hovering anything shows what it does.

Nothing is shuffled: the hand and the enemies are set, so the day is a problem with an answer you can work out, much like a chess puzzle. You get three rounds, each starting fresh, and the result can be shared as a picture and a short text with a beer mug for each level of difficulty. Monday is described as a gentle pint and Sunday as the whole barrel.

New players are offered six short lessons, about three minutes in all, that each teach one idea. A calendar opens earlier fights, and stats track your results. The game is free, needs no account, and suits players of Slay the Spire style deckbuilders who like the moment of finding the exact lethal line.

How to play Last Call (Lone Piggy)

  1. Open lonepiggy.com/lastcall; on a first visit take the six short lessons or choose to skip them.
  2. Read the goal at the top left: defeat every enemy this turn, or survive their turn.
  3. Check each enemy's health and the intent shown above it, and your Action Points on the blue gems.
  4. Tap a card, then an enemy (or the card again) to play it; each card costs the AP on its red gem.
  5. Play your cards in the order that meets the goal, then press End Turn.
  6. If it fails, start the next of your three rounds fresh; share your result when you are done.

Tips

  • Count the total damage you can deal with your AP before playing anything; the order of cards often matters more than which ones.
  • Play cards that add Strength or apply Exposed before your attacks, since Strength adds to every hit.
  • Multi-hit cards gain Strength on each hit but also take Thorns damage on each hit.
  • Divine Shield cancels a whole hit, so spend a small hit on it first.
  • Hold or hover over cards, enemies and status icons to read exactly what they do.
  • Use the early-week fights and the lessons to learn the rules before the weekend's harder ones.

Questions

When does a new Last Call fight appear?

The fight is chosen from the date on your device, so a new one starts at midnight in your time zone.

Is the fight the same for everyone?

Yes. Each day has one numbered fight with the same hero, hand and enemies for every player.

How many tries do I get?

Three rounds, each starting fresh from the same position.

Is there any luck?

No. Your hand and the enemies' actions are fixed, so every fight can be worked out.

Is it the full Kegs of Eternity game?

No. It is a free daily puzzle built on that game's combat rules. Kegs of Eternity itself is a roguelite deckbuilder listed on Steam.
