Vault of the Void is a roguelike deckbuilder from Spider Nest Games built to keep randomness low: you see upcoming enemies, can change your deck before any battle, and discard cards for energy. Its Daily Draft gives everyone the same daily run to draft and play, ranked on leaderboards.

About Vault of the Void

Vault of the Void is by Spider Nest Games and was released on Steam in October 2022, with a Mac version and a rebuilt 2.0 version arriving later. It aims to put control in the player's hands rather than the dice: you can preview which enemies you will face before each encounter and modify your deck at any point of a run, even right before a fight.

There are four classes with very different playstyles, more than 440 cards, over 320 artifacts and Void Stones that you socket into cards to add abilities. Combat is fast: you can purge unwanted cards for extra energy, and enemy attacks build a Threat stack that hits you at the end of your next turn unless you block it, so you always know exactly how much damage is coming.

The Daily Draft is the daily mode. Every player drafts and plays the same daily run, and results are scored on leaderboards that work across systems. Patch notes show it being refined, including an Overkill scoring change that counts extra damage towards your overall score and fixes to the daily draft and leaderboard displays.

Difficulty goes from gentle up to Impossible+. It suits deckbuilder fans who dislike losing to bad luck, and anyone who wants a daily run where skill decides the ranking.
