Entanglement
Place hexagonal path tiles to build the longest line you can, with a Daily Challenge where everyone draws the same tiles.
Every day: Daily Challenge: all players get the exact same set of tiles for the whole day and compete on strategy alone for the daily championship, with points toward weekly and all-time tables. New puzzle: Once a day.

Entanglement is a calm tile puzzle by Gopherwood Studios. You rotate and place hexagonal tiles etched with paths to extend a single line as far as possible without running into a wall. In the Daily Challenge every player gets the identical tile sequence for the day and competes for the top of the daily leaderboard.
About Entanglement
Entanglement started as a web game from Gopherwood Studios and came to Steam in 2017 with all the original maps. The board is a field of hexagons around a central stone. Each tile you draw carries several curving paths; you rotate it, place it where your line currently ends, and the line follows the paths through it. Loops and long runs score more, and the game ends when your path hits the wall or the centre. A swap slot lets you keep one tile in reserve.
The Daily Challenge gives all players the exact same set of tiles for the entire day, so the only difference is strategy. At the end of each day the scores are tallied: the Daily Challenge Champion gets 50 points, the rest of the top ten get 10 and everyone else gets 1 for taking part, feeding weekly and all-time tables. The developer still posts about it: in August 2026 a new triangle-shaped map appeared in the Daily Challenge, and in July 2026 Steam accounts were enabled for the leaderboards.
There is also a solitaire mode with its own leaderboards and a hot-seat multiplayer mode for up to six people on one computer, now with bots.
It suits players who like quiet, spatial puzzles and the satisfaction of a long, tangled line.
