Earthle (Capitalle)
Name the day's country from its silhouette in six guesses.
Every day: One country silhouette a day, the same for everyone: name the country in six guesses, with distance, direction and proximity after each. New puzzle: Midnight UTC (the puzzle follows the UTC date).

Earthle shows you the outline of one country each day. You have six guesses, and each wrong one tells you how far away you are, in which direction, and how close as a percentage. A hard mode rotates the silhouette so its orientation is no help.
About Earthle (Capitalle)
Earthle is the country-outline game on Capitalle, a site of daily geography puzzles that also hosts Capitalle (capital cities), Travle-style routes and Brandle (logos). Each numbered Earthle shows a black silhouette of a country, the same one for everyone that day.
You type a country and submit. If it is wrong, the guess appears with the distance from your country to the answer, an arrow pointing toward it and a proximity percentage, coloured from far to very close. You have six guesses, and the share line shows your coloured rows and score.
An optional hard mode rotates the outline by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, so you cannot use north as a clue. The game keeps your streak, win rate and guess distribution, and offers a practice mode and an archive of past days back to its launch on 1 January 2025.
It suits players of Worldle who want another daily outline, or the same idea with a rotation twist.
How to play Earthle (Capitalle)
- Open capitalle.app/earthle to see today's silhouette.
- Type the country you think it is and press Go.
- Read the distance, direction arrow and proximity for a wrong guess.
- Use them to aim your next guess.
- Find the country within six guesses and share your result.
Tips
- Open with a large, central country to get a useful direction and distance.
- Islands and coastlines in the outline are strong clues; landlocked shapes narrow the region.
- In hard mode, judge the shape alone: compare proportions rather than orientation.
Questions
How many guesses do I get?
Six.
What is hard mode?
The silhouette is rotated 90, 180 or 270 degrees so that its orientation is not a clue.
When does it reset?
At midnight UTC.
