Francele is Teuteuf's version of Worldle for the departments of France. You see the outline of the day's department and guess; each miss tells you how far away and in which direction the answer lies. Bonus rounds follow, starting with its neighbours.

About Francele

Francele takes the format of Worldle, Teuteuf's best-known game, and narrows it to France. Each day the game shows the shape of one French department, picked at random, and you have six guesses to name it. After each wrong guess you see the distance to the answer, an arrow pointing toward it and a proximity percentage, from 0 at the far side of the world to 100 on target.

Getting the department right opens the bonus rounds, which begin with naming its neighbouring departments; Teuteuf lists six of them. Settings let you hide the shape for more of a challenge, rotate it at random, or show size instead of proximity.

The game is free with ads. A Teuteuf account saves your statistics across devices, and Teuteuf Premium removes ads and opens the archive of past games. It suits players who already play Worldle and want something harder, and anyone learning the map of France.

How to play Francele

  1. Open Francele and look at the outline of the day's department.
  2. Type the name of a department and submit.
  3. Use the distance, arrow and percentage to choose your next guess; you have six.
  4. Once you find it, play the bonus rounds, starting with its neighbours.

Tips

  • Start with a department in the centre of France; the arrow then points you in the right direction.
  • Coastline on the outline narrows it to the departments on the sea.
  • Turn on rotation or hide the shape in settings once the standard game feels easy.
