DailyGeo
Guess the day's capital and the day's country from real clues.
Every day: A mystery capital and a mystery country each day, the same for everyone, guessed from clues on currency, distance, direction and population. New puzzle: Midnight on your device clock.

DailyGeo is a daily geography game, here in its French edition and also in English, Spanish and German. Each day there is a mystery capital and a mystery country. Every guess is compared with the answer on currency, distance, direction and population, plus language and borders in the country mode.
About DailyGeo
DailyGeo is a free geography game that runs in any browser and can be installed as an app. It is played in French, English, Spanish and German, each at its own address, and it is one of a set of geography games by Eliott Gandiolle that also includes Geopolitix and Le Bon Rang.
Every day there are two puzzles: a capital and a country. You choose a mode and type any capital or country as a first guess, without a map. Each guess is set against the day's answer in a table of clues: currency, straight-line distance, direction and population, with official language and land borders added in the country mode. Green means exact, orange warm and red cold. Guesses are unlimited, but fewer guesses and faster answers score more.
The page compares itself with Worldle, Globle, Countryle and Flagle: instead of a silhouette or a heat map, you read a board of real figures, and you get two puzzles a day. Everyone playing on the same day has the same answers, so scores can be compared, and new puzzles arrive at midnight in your time zone.
It suits players who know their capitals and want a puzzle in French or another language, and teachers, for whom the site has its own page.
How to play DailyGeo
- Choose Capitales or Pays.
- Type any capital or country as your first guess.
- Read the clues: currency, distance, direction and population, plus language and borders for countries.
- Use green for exact, orange for warm and red for cold to narrow down the answer.
- Find the answer with as few guesses as you can, then try the other mode.
Tips
- Start with a central, well-connected country so the direction arrow points you the right way.
- Currency clues can narrow things fast: the euro and the CFA franc cover whole regions.
- Population tells big cities from small ones before distance pins down the area.
