PocketGlobe Mystery mode: a globe with flags marking guesses and the closest guess, Chad, 474 miles away

PocketGlobe bundles four daily geography games about countries and their borders. Each mode has a dated daily round and a leaderboard to compare scores with other players, and you can play on the web or in the app. A Pro upgrade unlocks unlimited extra rounds.

About PocketGlobe: Geography Game

PocketGlobe is a set of country games played on a map. Mystery asks you to find today's hidden country, with each wrong guess telling you how far away it is. Pin Drop has you tap five named countries, with near misses still scoring. Borders asks for every country that touches the day's target, and Paths has you connect two countries through a chain of shared land borders.

The App Store lists it under Yoav Levanoni, and it arrived there in 2025. It can be played in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Danish.

Each of the four modes shows today's date and a daily round, and its own leaderboard lets you compare your score with players worldwide. Streaks and stats track how you do over time. Beyond the dailies there are Arena and Unlimited modes; PocketGlobe Pro unlocks unlimited play.

Putting four short formats on one page means a single visit covers distance reasoning, map recall and border knowledge. It suits players who already do Globle or Travle and want several country puzzles in one place.

Tips

  • In Mystery, spread your first guesses across continents before narrowing down.
  • For Paths, think of large countries with many neighbours as stepping stones.
  • Small countries in Pin Drop still score for near misses, so tap your best estimate rather than skipping.
