Cursed and Fading
Every step costs a point of a stat as you hunt the lich who cursed you.
Every day: Daily Run mode: the whole world plays the same map from the same start, beginning every midnight UTC, scored on Steam leaderboards. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Cursed and Fading is a roguelike RPG where every tile you cross costs you a point of Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma. Find and defeat the lich before you fade away; in the Daily Run, everyone plays the same map from the same start.
About Cursed and Fading
In Cursed and Fading, a lich's curse has shattered your soul across a world of fog and ruin, and the body you are given is already failing. Every move costs something: with each tile you cross you choose which of six stats to give up, one point at a time. Let Constitution run out and you die; let the others fade and your options narrow with them.
Each life starts strong and equipped on a procedurally generated map of small, medium or large size. You spawn at a church, rest at inns, buy gear from merchants and open chests for gold, soul shards or equipment. Combat resolves automatically, your gear against the enemy's abilities, and six classes, Archer, Knight, Heavy Knight, Mounted Knight, Samurai and Wizard, set your starting stats, with more than 400 pieces of equipment to find. When you die, you respawn as one of the classes and try again.
The Daily Run breaks from the random maps: the whole world plays the same map from the same start, starting every midnight UTC, and your score on the Steam leaderboards depends on how much damage you land on the lich in the fewest moves. It runs on Windows and Linux.
It suits players who like resource-management roguelikes where every move is a cost.
How to play Cursed and Fading
