Daily Sleeve
Name the artist from a cover revealed bit by bit, then the album and its year.
Every day: One album cover a day, the same for everyone: name the artist as more of the artwork is revealed, then the album, then its original release year. New puzzle: Midnight New York time.

Daily Sleeve is a free daily album-cover game. You see a small part of the day's cover and have six guesses to name the artist, with more of the artwork shown after each miss, then name the album and guess its original release year, for up to 1,000 points.
About Daily Sleeve
Daily Sleeve is a daily music game from Move Thirty Seven Games built around album artwork. Each day there is one record, the same for everyone, and the cover changes at midnight New York time.
A game has three scored rounds. First you name the artist: the cover starts as a small crop and widens with each wrong guess or skip, and an early answer is worth more, from 600 points on the first reveal down to 100 on the sixth. Any names or titles printed on the artwork are hidden. Next you name the album in up to six tries for up to 250 points, with optional hints that show the title's shape and letters. Last you enter the year the album first came out, not a reissue, for up to 150 points.
A fourth round lets you rate the record from 0.0 to 10.0, unscored, which feeds a community average. Hints during the artist round, a genre and then a song by the artist, cost points. Finishing all four rounds builds your streak, and past covers wait in an archive that does not affect it.
The game is free in the browser with no account. It suits listeners who know records by their sleeves, and players of Popidle or Heardle who want a visual music puzzle.
How to play Daily Sleeve
- Open dailysleeve.com and look at the small crop of the day's album cover.
- Guess the artist; each miss or skip reveals more of the cover, six chances in all.
- Name the album in up to six tries, using title hints if needed.
- Enter the year the album was first released.
- Rate the record if you know it, then share your score.
Tips
- Colour palette and typography often place a cover in its decade before you see much of it.
- The year round counts the original release, so ignore remasters and anniversary editions.
- The song hint can come from any album by the artist, so it narrows the artist, not the record.
