Harmonies
Sort sixteen music tiles into four groups of four before your fourth mistake.
Every day: One board a day, the same for everyone: sixteen music-related tiles (songs, artists, albums and sometimes pictures) to sort into four hidden groups of four, with four mistakes allowed. New puzzle: Midnight Eastern Time (New York).

Harmonies is a daily music version of the connections format. Each day you get sixteen tiles, all to do with music, and you have to find the four groups of four that belong together. Four wrong guesses end the round, and an archive holds the earlier boards.
About Harmonies
Harmonies is a daily grouping puzzle where everything is about music. It comes from flatwhite studios, the team behind Spotle and Crosstune, and its board archive goes back to March 2024.
Each board has sixteen tiles. Select four you think share a theme and submit them. A correct group locks in and shows its category; a wrong one costs you one of four mistakes. The themes vary a lot: one day the tiles were reworded song titles to match to Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Drake and ABBA, the next they were hits by Disney Channel alumni, X Factor acts, American Idol alumni and singers who started out online. Some tiles are pictures rather than words.
New boards appear at midnight New York time. You can replay earlier days from the archive, and the site also lets you build your own board to share.
If you play the word version of this format every day and know your charts, Harmonies uses the same habit with a different kind of knowledge. The red herrings are musical, so a song title can look as if it belongs in two groups.
How to play Harmonies
- Read all sixteen tiles before you pick anything.
- Select four tiles you think share a music theme.
- Press submit to check the group.
- A correct group is locked in with its category name; a wrong one costs one of your four mistakes.
- Find all four groups before the mistakes run out, then share your result.
Tips
- Look for tiles that could fit two groups and leave them until last.
- Say reworded titles out loud: some boards hide well-known song names behind synonyms.
- Group by artist first when the tiles are song titles; it is often the easiest group to confirm.
- Use shuffle when you are stuck to break up false patterns in the layout.
