Capitour (GuessDash)
Visit the day's capitals one by one and close the shortest loop you can.
Every day: One daily board for everyone: a set of capitals in one region (eleven around Central America and the Caribbean on 2 October 2026) to visit in the shortest loop. New puzzle: Midnight in the Netherlands (GuessDash renews its games by the date in Europe/Amsterdam).

Capitour is a GuessDash route puzzle. The day's board names a group of capitals in one region, and you pick them one stop at a time, from the names alone, to make the shortest round trip home. At the end the map shows your loop next to the best one.
About Capitour (GuessDash)
Capitour turns a set of capital cities into a travelling puzzle. Each day's board picks one region, such as Central America and the Caribbean, and lists its capitals with their flags. You start in one of them and choose the next stop each turn, working from the names alone, until you have visited every city and head home.
The aim is the shortest loop. Since the cities are not shown on the map while you plan, you have to picture where Havana, Kingston or Panama City lie and string them together without doubling back. When the tour closes, a map draws your route, gives the distance in kilometres or miles, and marks which of your legs are also in the best loop and which are not.
It is one of more than twenty daily GuessDash games that renew together each day, with the same board for every player. No account is needed to play; signing up keeps your results.
How to play Capitour (GuessDash)
- Read the region and the list of capitals for the day.
- From the starting capital, pick the next stop from the remaining names.
- Keep choosing stops until every capital is visited, then the loop heads home.
- Compare your loop with the best one on the map and see which legs match.
Tips
- Think of the outline first: go round the edge of the region and avoid crossing your own path.
- Islands and coastal capitals are easy to place on a mental map; use them as anchors.
